Home to Health Hooray! 

Released at last gauze removed

unbled, arms marked with spots of blue

deep with red, a purple melting hope

breathing somewhat normally, as can do


so joyful to be out of that bed

pillows seemed like torture sacks

bedside push buttons called for help

returning such simple pleasant packs


of hope that the air/ailments end

and I'd be on the mend again

so finally came the day I was physician

 telling mine my home was my friend


Now it was the drug I needed most

my beloved Chuck and dog Jasper

would together set me free again

their healthy love, heaven not disaster

that indeed would bring love & laughter!
