Jasper Monkey Dog
That Darling Jasper Dog
he is such a sweet grinnin’ baboo
just cuz his sweet tri-colored face
with eyes that seem to shine anew
each time he looks at me our you
the love that shines in his eyes so true
takes away that affliction named “blue”
for we also know the sky in every hue
fills us with emotions always new
We see the heavens at night and day
each time is a heavenly bouquet
that grows the flowers and sweet hay
then night moon & starlight to display
Changing clouds of diverse face
sunlight rays disperse in grace
so may it be as you shall find joy
in our loving dog, like Jasper our boy
Now you know what is true
and you may need that lovin’ too
is a furry sweet pet or two
will chase away, with fur so warm
keeping your heart & soul from harm
