Sampson Strong 👿 Delilah Wrong
⭐ 🔯 ⭐
Yes he has tried to do it again
To down columns to prove his point
Only to realize, nagging Delilah says
His body sags every strong joint

I believe, I hear, or so they say
Aging warps the body not the mind
So listen to Delilah’s refrain
The body sags, seems out of line

She no longer beguiles nor dances
Even when she craves his body strong
But like her own she does see
Youthful madness in not where they belong

Once upon a time she cut his hair
Blinded with God’s command so sharp
No cursed scissors now in her hand
She plays a heaven sounding harp

Dances sorta going down the aisle
 see her prancing, dancing no more
Just when shopping for the food
At the local wonderful grocery store

She just has made breakfast my dear
As he sits waiting at the table
A stack of pancakes steaming hot
Dripping butter, lovely syrup maple

So do not worry now you see
He has become her sacred husband gift
She no long lifts violent cutting tools
Any more that he heavy things does lift

In our minds they have become
Sweet husband and caring wife
Only when cutting bread or meat
Do they use a carving knife

She may have aged just as he has
But still beautiful, doing not wrong
And he like she in heart and mind
Gives hope to humanity kind and strong
