Night Falls

🌎

We paused as light fell

down onto the earth

the sky slowly drenched like water

a silent black falls upon earth

☼

silence seemed to kiss farewell

with clouds and color flight

a beauty that sometimes glistens

with gold spots and moon sweet light

✰

a light inside awakes beneath

seems centered in heart or soul

to float into our imagination

dancing with visions in our head

sometimes deeply dark as the sky

or light as a moonlit cloud

elusive planets in far heaven

fancy our earthly vision anew

with voices quiet or bombast

clouds of sight of unheard light

join the universe of creatures

seeming like birds to fly

human animal foreign beings

become a living part inside

the whole world that is you
