Elephantine Snuffles


Oh my dear, heaven please

I feel like an elephant

that needs to sneeze

if seems my big nose

is filled with itchy fleas

leaning bitching far down

He flops down on his knees

thinking yelling inside out

mouth utters rude harsh pleas

if only this slow recovery

stifling baggage of the heart

would some how make it

much easier to breathe


How can he eat those

delicious peanut & cheese

in between gulps of air

peanut cups with Reesey Flair?


Suck in breath for a minute

that sweet air will come in it

sit down and you will win it

ah, yes again thank you Geeze

once again he can sneeze

no help from tic tacs or Tik Tok

pull out a tissue from the box

or a sheet from round white roll

makes your breathing again whole!


“Hallelujah” shouts this old dude

blessed he can chew his food

dance his words, sing his song

hang it there, don’t be wrong

Breathe in, breath out you shout

Indeed this is what it’s all about!
