Looking outside at Her Face


I often see faces in trees

expressions that blow in the breeze

shades of green that do not deceive

all features constructed of leaves


expressions of various kinds

no doubt with wavering minds

Sometimes change with a wink

expressively in my mind they sink


The woman just burst in laughter

I question what it was after

surely it was a suggestion

that is not out of the question


Mixed in branches, fingers of green

a soul imagined, that moment is seen

the tall plant alive I say it is true

my eyes envision that moment anew

Photo is of Thimbleberries and Japanese Lantern in our Garden, and if you find and image within, the fairies graced your heart, tho' they may just be dancing behind the leaves and singing through the flowers

    And yes, the view from the Hospital (NVRH) is wonderfully forested, and I have "friends" in the trees.
