James & Jasper view the world


He wears a shirt of blue sky day

half filled with clouds of thought

half sings dreams of night

white stars dotting darkness

in a world abloom with color

dances all about

Jasper pup looks out at you

inviting to caress the joy

warm with young wonder

all good hearts are keen to do


shelves filled with books and shapes

in pages of his life

looking out to feast the world

through a twilight sparkling forest

music that you hear with sight

play tunes refreshed and new

flowers rise from his pocket

as if blooming from his heart

Spring comes from the clouds

behind the warm masque of beard

eyes clothed as if to cool the sun

behind the gold of his nose

and the fire inside his skull

envelops beauty still to rise

the morn each day begun
