Ganesha prompts blue blessed Status

 

Ganesha at Night


In the darkened room last night

shunning an awakening light

I drew upon the naked paper

with a dull grey graphite taper

of lovely Lord Ganesha dancing

the inner eye saw him prancing

in the morning in light of day

lines had played in a fickle way

His trunk so fat, bursting as a giggle

his legs from his body sure did wiggle

far off the formal dancing move

twinkling toes lost the groove

a silly dance to tell me more

a formal drawing to implore

at the Elephant God’s behest

deserves I draw my very best

the nighttime folly of my quest

a blue gold painting, heaven blessed
