A Christmas of Santas

of births, of daughters & sisters

of love, laughter & inquisitive minds

seeking, building, painting, cutting

hanging canvas and cutout

rivers of dancing gods and goddesses

the truth of songbirds,

smiling beauty, kindness

of knowledge to be gained

in written speech

indivisible invisible inklings

flashed

in warm phrases & eyes

seasoned with lights

hand crafted with growth

chasing away false arts

planting dreams of future

drinking from cups of love

the nemesis of destruction


What a Day.

books, foods of love

masks dancing with humor

angels guarding, ladies disappearing

reappearing

balloons, earthlings, gods and goddesses

and the sweetest

flavor of the best of humankind

hanging on walls

and touching, through our eyes

the breath and blood of life
